Translation

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

53:1New

وَٱلنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ۝١

By the star when it descends,

53:2New

مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَىٰ۝٢

Your companion [i.e., Muḥammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred,

53:3New

وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰٓ۝٣

Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination.

53:4New

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْىٌ يُوحَىٰ۝٤

It is not but a revelation revealed,

53:5New

عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلْقُوَىٰ۝٥

Taught to him by one intense in strength [i.e., Gabriel] -

Verse 1 of 1–5
