القدر

1–5

Translation

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

97:1New

إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ۝١

Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.

97:2New

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ۝٢

And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?

97:3New

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ۝٣

The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.

97:4New

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ۝٤

The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.

97:5New

سَلَٰمٌ هِىَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ ٱلْفَجْرِ۝٥

Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.

Verse 1 of 1–5

إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ۝١

Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.

Verse 2 of 1–5

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ۝٢

And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?

Verse 3 of 1–5

لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ۝٣
