وَٱلْخَٰمِسَةَ أَنَّ غَضَبَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْهَآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ٩

10शरीअत की परिभाषा में इसे "लिआन" कहा जाता है। यह लिआन न्यायालय में अथवा न्यायालय के अधिकारी के समक्ष होना चाहिए। लिआन की माँग पुरुष की ओर से भी हो सकती है और स्त्री की ओर से भी। लिआन के पश्चात् दोनों सदा के लिए अलग हो जाएँगे। लिआन का अर्थ होता होता है : धिक्कार। और इसमें पति और पत्नी दोनों अपने को झूठा होने की अवस्था में धिक्कार का पात्र स्वीकार करते हैं। यदि पति अपनी पत्नी के गर्भ का इनकार करे, तब भी लिआन होता है। (बुख़ारी : 4746, 4747, 4748)
