يُثَبِّتُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلْقَوْلِ ٱلثَّابِتِ فِى ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَفِى ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَيُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ وَيَفْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ مَا يَشَآءُ۝٢٧

Yuthabbitu Allahu allatheena amanoo bialqawli alththabiti fee alhayati alddunya wafee alakhirati wayudillu Allahu alththalimeena wayafAAalu Allahu ma yashao

12दृढ़ बात से अभिप्रेत "ला इलाहा इल्लल्लाह" है। (क़ुर्तुबी) बरा' बिन आज़िब रज़ियल्लाहु अन्हु कहते हैं कि आपने कहा : मुसलमान से जब क़ब्र में प्रश्न किया जाता है, तो वह "ला इलाहा इल्लल्लाह मुह़म्मदुर् रसूलुल्लाह" की गवाही देता है। अर्थात अल्लाह के सिवा कोई सच्चा पूज्य नहीं और मुह़म्मद सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम अल्लाह के रसूल हैं। इसी के बारे में यह आयत है। (सह़ीह़ बुख़ारी : 4699)

2現世における彼らの「迷い」とは、「論拠に基づいていないために、試練が訪れる堅固でいられず、失敗してしまうこと」で、来世における「迷い」とは、墓の中の質問に答えられないこととされる（アブー・ハイヤーン５：４2３参照）。

3(V.14:27) i.e. immediately after their death (in their graves, etc.), when the angels (Munkar and Nakîr ) will ask them three questions: As to: (1) Who is your Lord? (2) What is your religion? and (3) What do you say about this man (Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) who was sent to you? The believers will give the correct answers, i.e. (1) My Lord is Allâh; (2) My religion is Islâm; and (3) This man Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم is Allâh’s Messenger, and he came to us with clear signs and we believed in him, - while the wrong-doers who believed not in the Message of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم will not be able to answer these questions.
